At 18, Rennehan left her home in Yarmouth, N.S., with a desire to learn
more about construction. She actually worked for free for local contractors
just to gain experience.
Roughly one year later, Rennehan founded Freshco (“Not the grocery
store!” said Rennehan). It is the first full-service, on-call retail maintenance
provider with complete coverage across Canada and the eastern U.S. Today,
Freshco has three collaborative divisions – maintenance, projects and reconstruction.
Freshco handles anything from retail maintenance to customized
projects to large-scale reconstruction jobs.
