Bright and early the next morning, we were back at it with
an in-depth breakfast keynote from Ian MacDougall, the
founder of Corporate Lifecycles Inc., who tackled the topic of
how your management team can successfully manage change
through a company’s many cultural and business transitions
over time.
Between networking coffee breaks and a delicious lunch,
Friday’s presenters gave those in attendance a lot of knowledge
to take home with them. From how to navigate the workers’
SHCA CONVENTION WRAP-UP
compensation system effectively as an employer, to finding
success in small claims court and arbitration to partnering
with a public relations firm to help build your company’s relationship
with government, the day was packed with important
tips and ideas for companies big and small.
Our final session of the day was likely the most popular of the
convention as Sandy Brown again shared his experience as the
Canadian regional engineer for the Asphalt Institute on tackcoat
longitudinal joints and intelligent compaction.
