Member services
Aside from lobbying efforts and legislative
improvements, possibly the greatest
privilege of SHCA membership is
networking with your peers and keeping
up-to-date on industry trends and news.
Networking opportunities
Three times a year, members are able to
gather and network with others in the industry.
SHCA events have grown over the
past few years and the calibre of speakers
and presentation quality has been greatly
enhanced. The association’s events are
also gaining the attention of government
and other key stakeholder groups.
Equipment Rental Rates Guide &
Membership Roster
Our annual directory is the definitive reference
tool for the heavy construction industry
in Saskatchewan. Improvements
to the Equipment Rental Rates Guide &
Membership Roster include providing
members with the ability to access the
guide electronically.
The Interchange newsletter
The Interchange reaches SHCA members
every month. This digital newsletter
arrives on desktop computers, mobile
phones and tablets, keeping members upto
date on all the news that is important
to Saskatchewan’s heavy construction industry.
The Interchange is a great way to
keep members connected with what the
association is working on and also what’s
happening within the industry.
SHCA website
Our website, saskheavy.ca, has greatly
enhanced the profile of SHCA. The website
is a valuable tool for promoting the
association. We’ve made the site dynamic
and more interactive. Members have access
to the Equipment Rental Rates Guide
& Membership Roster through the members’
section of the website and we’ve
posted member testimonials and videos
on the site to make it more attractive. It
has clearly become a tool that has drawn
potential members and partners to the
association. We’ve heard countless times
that we have one of the best “association”
sites out there.
Think BIG magazine
This is clearly one of the best tools the association
has for getting our message out
to members and government. Think BIG
allows us to promote our vision, mandate
and services and provides members with
information related to what’s happening
not only in Saskatchewan but abroad.
The magazine has gained a loyal following
in a short time and can only be improved
upon as we move forward with
our vision.
