About the SCGA
The Saskatchewan Common
Ground Alliance is a memberdriven
organization dedicated
to ensuring worker and
public safety, environmental
protection and the integrity of
services by promoting effective
damage prevention practices in
connection with underground
infrastructure activities.
The SCGA welcomes all
stakeholders who would
like to be a part of the
identification and promotion of
best practices that lead to a
reduction in damage. All best
practices endorsed by the
SCGA come with consensus
support from experts
representing many different
stakeholder groups, including
the province’s road builders.
How SCGA operates
The SCGA is a non-profit
organization with all operating
activities performed by
volunteers from its member
companies. Membership and
sponsorship fees fund the
SCGA’s activities.

Report, in conjunction with the use of
CCGA Underground Infrastructure Damage
Prevention Best Practices 3.0, provides stakeholders
with the tools needed to educate stakeholders,
prepare targeted damage prevention
programs and to develop effective communication
campaigns.
