of our members have gone in the past and
they got a lot out of it.”
From contractors, materials producers
and government and institutional sector
officials, attendees include men and wom-en
involved in all segments of the con-struction,
aggregates and ready-mixed
concrete industries.
Lipp added that SHCA made a decision
to get involved with CONEXPO-CON/
AGG 2017 after finding out how many of
its members attend the show. She esti-mates
as many as two-thirds of members
attend.
“The SHCA often researches the sessions
being offered at CONEXPO-CON/AGG and
tries to incorporate that information in-to
our convention industry education ses-sions,”
said Lipp. “This is the third show
we’ve been involved in promoting and I see
us doing more of this in the future.”
Past shows included sessions on new
ways to manage your assets, new tech-nologies
for paving methods and mix de-signs
as well as multiple demonstrations,
including a real-life example of paving a
road in Las Vegas.
Attendees can also expect to see more
than 2,500 exhibitors that will showcase
cutting-edge equipment and products.
The event fills up a dizzying 2,500,000 net
square feet of exhibition space.
The 75,000-square-foot Tech Experience
is a new addition to CONEXPO-CON/AGG
2017 that will offer a glimpse into the future
of the construction industry, allowing at-tendees
to get a competitive edge and get
ahead of the curve.
