Notable projects
Arens says 2018 was a very successful year
for Trinity Excavating, with a number of notable
projects that included site preparation
for a new Costco store being built in Regina,
for which 45,000 cubic metres of material
had to be removed.
The company also participated in the construction
of new dual track and field/speed
skating oval facility at the Gordie Howe
Sports Complex in Saskatoon last year.
“We completed an Olympic size running
track for that facility. We did the cut/fill and
imported the granular material underneath
the track,” said Arens.
In the fall, Trinity Excavating completed
site preparation for a new solid waste transfer
station being built in Patuanak, Sask., by
the English River First Nation.
“We were the general contractors in that
job. We did cut/fill, granular import, site
fencing, large retaining wall as well as we did
the concrete slabs for that project as well,”
Arens said.
Another large industrial undertaking
for Trinity Excavating was a landfill
