each year, about one-third of whom
are school-aged children from across
Saskatchewan, including a large number from
Indigenous and ethno-cultural communities.
This project focuses on Phase 1 of the re-newal
of Wanuskewin Heritage Park. This
phase consists of building an addition to
the interpretive centre to include a contem-porary
Indigenous Art Gallery that meets
current museum standards, a Great Hall
and the Wanuskewin Institute, all of which
will be universally accessible.
The federal government has introduced the
proposed Cannabis Act that aims to legalize
non-medicinal cannabis in Canada by July
2018. The Government of Saskatchewan is
conducting targeted engagements regard-ing

The results of this survey will aid the
Government of Saskatchewan in creating
the best possible framework for its citizens.
The framework will be guided by several
overarching objectives, which include but
are not limited to:
1. Restricting the illegal cannabis market;
2. Keeping cannabis out of the hands of
children and youth;
3. Protecting public and personal health
and safety; and,
4. Promoting safety on roads, in
workplaces and in public spaces.
